Dear brethren citizens!
Dear community members!

I hope you had a good holiday, enjoyed the summer months, and now run a good recovery in the autumn.

The beginning of summer, was unfortunately somewhat rainy. This situation also meant that have delayed construction on the main square. The first aiming for completion in September of the place could not be met. However, it has worked in the period in which it allowed the weather, so diligently that the opening be delayed by only one months must. End of October we will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the community already on the new main square and open so that worthy. It will certainly be a wonderful Festival over.

Preparations are well underway. The business premises in the Market Hall and the pavilion will be ready for occupancy in spring 2010.

Another opening and dedication we were already on the 5th September to celebrate. The football stadium is completed and is already being used by our kickers of all ages to practice and for games. We consistently receive very positive reactions to the really successful project.

And already 2 days after the opening of our new sports facility was held on 7 September, the building commission for the nursing home on the former grounds and the order and expansion of Feuerwehrrüsthauses place. According to information from the owners of the nursing home with a fall 2010 completion is planned. The invitation and the start of construction for the fire department will continue until the end of 2009.

Early August, the groundbreaking ceremony took place at a major flood project in our market town. Yet this year is due to start in summer 2010 with the construction of reservoirs and Rötzbach Eisbach scheduled completion. On the part of the province of Styria was further assured that will begin after the completion of the reservoir for cleaning up the Plankenwartherstraße. This long-overdue work was undertaken 2 years ago by the competent Landesrätin Edlinger-Ploder.

For all those going to or from Graz is not overlooked that in the range of Siebenbründl brisk construction activities take place. The company built Pumpen Förster from Graz there a business park with office and storage facilities.

Finally, I would like an agenda item on 24 of the last Gemeinderatssitzung 9. 2009 received. Due to the changed legal situation it was left to the municipal council to decide whether the number of local councils after the election of 2010 by 21 is increased to 25. The possibility of the increase was the fact that the population has grown since the last election to more than 5,000. At my request, all decided unanimously in the council political groups that do not increase too Mandataranzahl. The rationale is that in the current tight economic situation, the municipal budget will not be additionally burdened. In addition, the funds thus saved can be invested inter alia in the youth work. A planning a supervised facility for our youth, but also for the parents is now on the run.
